The Board Ledger

Updated · 1 min read

In short

The Board Ledger is a log of every load coming in and out of your board. Each import, sync, clear, booking and cover is one row, with how many loads it added, updated or removed. Open it from the board with Board Ledger, pick a day, and click a row to see its loads.

The Board Ledger is a log of every load coming in and out of your board. Use it to see what a customer's sheet or email did, or why a load came off the board.

Open it

On the board, click Board Ledger (right of the Active, Claimed and Booked tabs). Admins can always open it. Other team members need Board Ledger turned on by an admin. See Invite your team.

Read a day

Each row is one thing that happened on the board, with its time in Central:

  • An import: a customer email, a sheet sync or a file upload. The row shows how many loads the source sent (Received) and what that did to the board: New, Updated, Removed and Unchanged.
  • A board action: a load created by hand, booked, covered, archived or released, or the board being cleared.

Hover over a number or a row type to see what it means. Click a row to see its loads.

Find something

Use the bar above the rows:

  • The arrows change the day. Today's ledger refreshes every minute on its own.
  • Customer shows one customer's rows.
  • Status shows only rows that worked (Success) or only rows that didn't (Failed).
  • The sort button switches between newest and oldest first.

Customer email addresses, above the rows, lists each customer's intake address and how their loads are coming in.

Import and clear from here

At the top of the page, Import opens Import Loads for a file such as an Aljex Big 500 CSV (admins, and team members with Import / Export). Admins also see Clear Board. See How loads get onto your board, and when they clear.
